a hit sound, a hit single and an album that reaches the top of
the musical charts.
At the age of twenty-four, Aman Hayer is one

be appreciated audibly but experienced visually when one has
the opportunity to watch Aman play the dhol and dholki live as
part of Jazzy B's band.
Reminisce is Aman's second solo album on the
Genie Records label, adding to
the repertoire of expressive UK Bhangra mixes and builds on the
distinctive sound quality
control of previous releases such as KS Makhan's First Play and
Kulwinder Dhillon's Changes. It follows the success of his debut
solo project of 2002 entitled Deja Vu.
Already creating a storm, 'Gabhru Shakeen'
by Lehmber Hussainpuri looks set
to steal the limelight, with a supporting cast featuring the
likes of KS Makhan, Feroz Khan, Ruby, Neetz, Vinni, Pav, Manak-E,
Sun ED and Cheshire Cat this looks likey to be Aman's biggest
hit to date. Also featured amongst the 10 tracks is a solo dhol
instrumental called 'Littranwale da Dhol' - highlighting Aman's
breathtaking ability on the dhol. Flawless production and Aman's
choice of distinctive vocal prowess, showcases the artists
from the Genie Records camp and tests their creative talents
to the limit.
Aman continues the experimentation, using more live instruments,
more intriguing rhythms and
unexpected arrangements. |
